You may have noticed since my blogging haitus that I’ve added the Snap Preview Anywhere plugin. Lots of other people have as well, including wordpress.com. If you hover over any of the links on my site, you see a little thumbnail preview of where the link will take you.
I’m not a big fan of random blog cruft, but I really like this one. It allows me to be a bit more elliptical with my linking, and provides a nice aid in reading. I predict that this will quickly be added to a really large number of blogs. I only hope that the service can keep up its performance, and remain free.

If i could turn it off somehow,i would love the feature, cause sometimes i just want simple links… ya know.
I assume turning off javascript would kill it at your end. On my end, you can set it up so that it only works on links you designate, but I was too lazy and just had it do everything.
Not only can you turn it off, you can turn it off for all web sites. Take a look at the popup — I’m not sure if it’s always available, but on Glyn Moody’s blog he pointed out you can turn it off from the preview popup, and there was also a way to turn it off for all sites, thankfully. I really don’t see the value of this feature. It may give you a little more to evaluate a site before visiting, but the annoyance far outweighs the utility for me.
I turned off SPA for internal links. And the search box too.
