Andrew Cline (Rhetorica) presents a challenge to his students: produce a podcast in a period of several hours, and get an A in the course.

Cool idea, but it raises the question: does it have to be good? At least I know that would be the question students here would ask. It’s a question of literacy: discovering and executing the steps necessary to podcast is not all that hard (and I suspect recognizing this is the aim of the assignment), but putting together something that is compelling, informing, and worth listening to… that’s a whole other kettle of fish.
