MITIA Voting Assignment

You have your choice of two options:

1. Post about your experience voting. For some of you, this will be the first time voting at all, and for many of you, your first presidential election. Explain the experience. What sort of place is your polling place? What is the procedure? How do you feel when you are doing it? Part of what I’m going for here is kind of what Mamamusing did in her post about an Alanon meeting. I have a feeling many people don’t vote because they are nervous about not having the “schema” needed for voting. You have the opportunity to provide this. You are welcome to share who you voted for and why, but you certainly do not have to.

2. If you did not vote, explain why and how you feel about this. Were you ineligible because of age or nationality? Were you eligible to vote, but did not register? Were you registered, but did not vote? Why did you decide not to vote? Do you feel as if you missed out? What would have made you vote? Again, feel free to discuss who you would have voted for, if you had voted, but you need not name names if you would rather not.
