Microsoft has a new engine that predicts the demographics for a given search query or URL. Here’s their predicted audience for my blog:

Interesting tool. I’ve tried a few sites out of interest, but there’s an interesting anomaly for http://www.ft.com (financial times, uk), which produces:
“failed to predict for URL: http://www.ft.com”
It has no other problems with any site I’ve tried. Are ft readers that complex?!
Mine turned out exactly the same as yours. Bah!
Mine is very different. I wonder what kind of algorthm behind.
Apparently my predicted audiance is mostly female age 25- 34!!!
