So the RIAA is planning to offer amnesty to those who repent and send them a list of files they download with a notorized promise to never, ever do it again? Is it wrong of me to think about accusations that the RIAA and member labels have polluted p2p systems with spoofed music files? Is it wrong of me to want to create my own, obviously fake, notary stamp and make sure the Mickey Mouse, Tinky Winky, and George Bush all admit that they are evil-doers? Would it be childish to ask thousands of others to help in flooding their mail with less-than-perfect admissions of guilt?
