No year-round snowboarding

Not unexpected, but a bummer nonetheless. The waterfront will not be getting a domed entertainment center with a half-pipe, wave pool, movie theaters and restaurants. I know there are a lot of people who love this city just the way it is, but it’s really hard to live in a city that seems all the time to be whithering away. This is especially true when most of the places you have lived in your life were boomtowns.
