NERDI Lecture

Presented some of my current and not-so-current work at NIWI. (Here is a 1.3 Mb pdf of the powerpoint presentation.) I wish I had posted the presentation before I left for the Netherlands, since when I turned up it seems I had brought a blank CD rather than the one I burned. I woke Jamie up and had her email it, but the presentation was almost over before the graphics showed up. C’est la vie.

Both the folks working in NERDI and the students who attended from the University of Amsterdam seemed to be doing very interesting work. I’m glad I got a chance to talk with them.

Chatted a bit with Han about the possibility of looking at international CSCW systems, particularly those bridging “blocks” (e.g., between Asia and Europe, etc.), but he didn’t seem all that taken with the idea. My agenda is probably too tight right now to be looking at new projects in any case.
