I think you’re right about many of these blogging myths. When I implemented blogging as part of my freshman composition course, I didn’t realize how difficult some of my students would find Blogger (and I don’t really consider myself to be a tech-savvy person).

I’ve also received some complaints about using blogs because students tend to privilege books over online writing.
