Arianna Huffington, as annoyed as I am by the “your drug money funds terrorists” commercials (how about “your tax dollars fund the American arms industry and provide weapons directly to terrorists”), has started the detroit project, aimed at making explicit the links between gas guzzling and the “axis of evil.” The PSAs (in Realplayer: George and Headshots) are a poignant as the originals, but much more thought-provoking.
