Along with the general Firefox 1.0 buzz I have noticed that one or two webloggers mentioning which extensions they have added, so I thought I would list what extensions to date I am using with Firefox on either Amalaki…

Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Reader\plug_ins and move everything except EWH32.api and Search.api into the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Reader\optional folder. The functions will still be available, but you won’t have to wait for them to load every time.

PS: I’ve been using Firefox since version .8, and I love it!

It’s like the “car” we drive on the information superhighway. Would you like to drive in an old Toyota, or a spanking new Lexus?

I have problems with opening Adobe PDFs too, but usually if I wait a minute or 5 it straightens itself out.

My IE/Acrobat combo went bad at one point, and that’s why I initially *switched* to Firefox. I’d suggest taking a shot at installing Firefox 1.0 (if you tried an earlier version) since it seems to be relatively bug-free, and then (re)install the acrobat plugin on top of that. I’ve had no difficulties in my setup on Firefox.
