Useless Python Script

Despite the fact that there is already a bunch of useless python floating around the net, I am trying to live up to my “open research” philosophy by posting even the dumbest tools I’m using. Thus, I give you fdiff, a script that compares word frequencies among text files and gives you a value that indicates how different they are, from 0 (same frequencies of words) to 1 (entirely different words). If it does you any good, have at it.

What’s that you say? It sucks? Well, I didn’t promise it wouldn’t. If programming were something I spent more time on, it might be better. You are welcome to improve it. Mostly, it’s out there for the 5 people who actually have less programming skill than I do. And if you make fun of me, I’ll probably return to not telling anyone when I write something :).
