There is a variable in MT that allows you to list author names for comments, so I just dropped this into the "title" section on my main template. I don't know what variable Greymatter gives you to work with, but I suspect you can do something similar. If you want to wait a little, I'm trying to get blogs.buffalo.edu set up at some point here, and I hope to run it on MT. It’s nothing fancy. Some of its features (e.g., trackback) are really wicked cool. And there is a large install base with active contributors in terms of mods, etc..
