Passing the Musical Baton

Uh, oh, Kevin has passed me his musical baton (note the amazing restraint: nary a mention of “rythm sticks”). So here we go:

Total volume of music files on my computer:

15Gb (16,109,333,271 bytes) in mp3s on this computer but some of those may be audiobook files.

The last CD I bought was:

CDs? Were those some kind of forerunner to CD-ROMs? Let’s say Massive Attack: Danny the Dog

Song playing right now:

Just finished: Hooverphonic: Electro-shock Faders
Just started: Satie: Gnossienne 1

Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me:

That’s far too hard. Top 50 maybe. But, limiting to B through D on my current play list:

* Beatles: While My Guitar Gently Weeps
* Ben Folds: The Luckiest
* Natalie Cole: Unforgettable
* Crowded House/Jesse Cook: Fall at Your Feet
* Duran Duran: The Chauffeur

Five people to whom I’m passing the baton:

Yuck MLM. Problem here is that a lot of people’s blogs are far less random than mine is, and I don’t want to obligate anyone. So, feel free to drop this baton.

1. Boyhowdy
2. Churtry
3. Chheng-Hong
4. Jia
5. Dullest Blog in the World

    Drat. If D is included, I can’t believe I didn’t include “My Back Pages”, which always makes me cry.

    “A self-ordained professor’s tongue
    Too serious to fool
    Spouted out that liberty
    Is just equality in school
    ‘Equality,’ I spoke the word
    As if a wedding vow.
    Ah, but I was so much older then,
    I’m younger than that now.”
