Marketing geniuses

ms_protect.pngOK, I’ll have a more substantive post up later, but I was just running through the Toshiba technical support site and ran into the ad pictured here. The only thing I have done is cut off the right side of the ad, which was entirely blank. I thought, “That’s an interesting Linux ad.” When I clicked on it, it brought me to Microsoft. Whoever designed this ad and missed the dominant meaning probably deserves to be fired. But then, I clicked on a banner ad, and I can’t remember the last time I did that, so maybe it’s not so bad after all… :).

it was an article on how to “Protect your PC” and it came from Microsoft.

It sure makes for a great picture though. I might have to make it into a flag and fly it next to my American one. With the meaning, as it should be, of protecting my computer from any and all microsoft products. America and Linux… they were meant to be together
