Going to ICA

It starts today, but I’m headed to the International Communication Association conference in New York first thing in the morning. If the bloggers who are going want to get together for a bloggers’ lunch on Saturday, post here or drop me a note. I have a feeling that sushiden is not exactly “cheap eats,” so maybe Original Rays? I’m open to suggestions.

I think I am avoiding presenting, since grad students are first authors on all my ICA stuff this year. One is with Alex Tan (“Preferential Buying Patterns in Online Auctions: A Power Law Analysis on eBay” on Friday at 8:15 [yuk!]) and two are with Jia Lin (“The Blogosphere Alternative” on Friday at 2:15 & “Geographic Distribution of Weblogs in the United States” on Saturday at 8:15).

No promises, but here is my preliminary plan for sessions to attend (below the fold):

8:15-9:30 E-commerce (New York Ballroom East)
9:45-11:00 Online games (New York Ballroom West)
