Gmail (or should this be the more appropriate link?) seems to be rapidly expanding its beta. If anyone wants an account, I have several invites available. Drop me a note if interested. Oh, and in case you are wondering, it actually is money and power that are my secret, the invites are just icing.

Seriously. What if Gmail actually works and takes off? The last major change to e-mail was when webmail exploded. While providing ubiquitous access was great, e-mail UIs were set back a bit. Gmail might be the last chance in our lifetimes to see serious adoption of changes to e-mail interaction. If not directly through Google at least through the competition induced with Yahoo and MSN. Get on board before the train leaves the station.

i would LOVE one :D my aol account is ripping me off, i wanted to keep the name and cancel the account (i dont use aol anymore i just use AIM + aol.com email) and they told me i have to cancel the account and wait 6 months to get the name back!!!
so they are rippign me off and if you have an extra one i will love you for life :P
Judging by how many posts there are ahead of me I’m pretty sure I don’t have much chance of getting an invite, but I’ll try anyways.
Reasons for wanting an invite:
– Google is God, and God is super-dooper.
– I get quite a few emails a day and find myself needing to delete emails very often, Gmail could very easily solve this problem
– From what I have read, Gmail has many inovative features which I find very interesting and could prove to be enormously usefull
– You are also God, and God should be nice to me

I actually have an account (via M.G.), but would like to give a gmail account to a woman in Thailand who helped me edit the human subject consent forms that I’m using in my study. OK, I’m with Fabio there. I’ve just been inundated with requests (>50) and I don’t have enough of a stream to redistribute them, and I don’t have the time to keep managing the list. So, I’m adding a caveat. I either need to know you or you need to post something so compelling that I break that rule. Otherwise, I’ll find one of the many places that is now redistributing, and add my extra invites to the queue.
