Earlier in the year, I tried to engage some Nigerian scam emailers in a conversation. Little did I know that there was someone far more masterful at this game. (Via Boing.)

Hi all,
I too am tired of all the shallow attempts at fraud and am saddened by the knowledge that there are people in this country who aren’t smart enough to see the truth.
I want to share with you my response to these morons:
“Dear Prince,
You see, my late mother has just informed me that in order to complete this transaction in copously adminumiely periodus time it will be first necessaryity for all Nigerian Government and Police to all sending me photo of their wives within the confines of junglely institutionly. But first in order for me to send you money I must received from you a checqe for the small sum of $100 USD. When I get this I will send moeny. You see, It is necessary to bribe the bank manager to let me have all this money fromm my late mother’s account whom we don’t know where she is anymore. Then when the Prince of Akabaomarpshi returns to his palace you will have to send even more money to pay advance fee to him. But then you will get your money and you can then rest assurred that this is a religious transaction fee and into the number 14 autobus we will all ride to the bank account to pay big fees together. I will tell the customs officials to let you must bypass customs here becanuse then I can pump you for even more of the nasty money stuff. Oh yes, you see, here in America we all are incredibley stupid and can’t wait to give our money to you arsholes in the Niger. Are you still reading this? Good then I will know that you are more stupider than I thought. But please, keep all this a secret because I say so and I only wanty to get money from you. The bribe and advance fee are to be refunded prompnesy.
Also don’t forget I need $100 for bribe my wife too.”
When you try to steal from people through lies and decption you shame yourself, your family, your tribe, your country and the entire African Continent. I pity you……
