Sorry for using without credit. Will definitely put your name up on the post. And yes: I talked to her a couple of days ago and she has started walking and swimming. Her recovery is surprisingly quick so far.

Hey! That's my picture. Hope you like it, you can use it for your Christmas card if you want. :-) Can you put my name on it at least? Thanks much, hope your sis is better.

Hi Alex, I’m trying to get a hold of Megan. Megan graciously called me after her surgery and told me that she would be open for an interview this week but I haven’t heard from her yet….I’m just checking to see how she’s doing and if she’s up to do an interview…..also, Brit Horn, the Sonoma Coast Ranger who helped to assist Megan is receiving a Medal of Valor tomorrow morning in Dana Point….please give me a call, would love to speak to you- thank you so much in advance 707-543-5164

Thank you,

Arthur: What!? You look better than that in real life? More focussed, perhaps?

This is I think the only photo I have of any of you that is newer than, say, four years. It is therefore, by definition, the most decent picture I have of any of you.

Decent!? That's an atrocious picture of me. And here I thought that I'd manage to escape that line of fire for the cameras.

I saw her on TV the other day but didn't realize her last name was Halavais. What a relief! I'm really glad that she survived.
