Dinner Menu

Had some friends over for dinner, and then moved to another house for board games. Menu:

Appetizer: Assorted cheeses and crackers. Fresh guacamole and tortilla chips (by request). Stag’s Leap Chardonnay (1997).

Main course: Beef tenderloin with garlic-bread stuffing and wrapped in bacon. Cappellini and broccoli in herbed (Italian parsley and basil) butter. Escarole salad with tomatoes. Ciabatta. Cain Concept (2001).

Desert: Crumb-top apple pie with (store-bought) dolce de leche ice cream. Jamie’s pie is now even better than Julian Apple Pie (referred to as ppie, with a double consonant indicating supremacy, in our family), which should save us some FedEx charges.

Digestif: Peninsula Ridge Vidal (Ice wine).

Games: Word Thief. Cranium. Catch Phrase.

    Even though I’m not familiar with the foods.. so mouthwatering..
