I just put in a paper to HICSS talking about the blog searching tool I’m working on. It’s not my greatest work. But it’s getting a little crowded lately for those looking at “bursty” words and phrases in the blogosphere. Intelliseek is the newest kid on the block, I guess, with their BlogPulse. Where’s Google? Anyway, just another push to finish my project before the big boys crowd me out :).

Hawaii in January – that sounds rough :)
Given the paper, it is also unlikely :)…
If possible, I would be interested to look at your paper. Could this software actually sift through weblogs to find opinion leaders in various demographic groups?
I also saw that Intelliseek claims that their software can provide “market intelligence” so that “consumer buzz” could be measured.
Does this mean that they are beginning to find ways to measure things such as viral marketing campaigns?
When I conducted my research on VM, it seemed as though it was slightly impossible to track. Is this company offering something state of the art, or are the claims something that have yet to be proved?
Sorry for all of the questions, I am just very interested in this topic area.
