Bad PR, Good PR

Exercise for the reader:

Read this short article on Liz Hurley and friend getting busy trans-Atlantic style, and tell me whether you would be more likely to hire Hurley’s PR company (“A spokeswoman for Austin Powers star Hurley denied the incident had taken place. She was not even sure whether Ms Hurley had been on the flight. “) or BA’s (“We’re delighted to see that British Airways’ spacious flat beds in first class are being put to good use. It is a welcome example of how our unique flat beds offer not only great comfort, but room enough for two.”).

I’d definitely go for BA’s. “I’m not sure” doesn’t sound like a convincing way of denying an incident like that.
