Just a quick congrats to my partner, Jamie, who has been admitted to the California bar. (She was already a member of the New York bar and admitted to practice in the US District Courts for the Southern & Eastern Districts of New York—which are some of the busiest District Courts in the US.) I’ve been trying to convince her to go for the other 48 state bars, just to make it a complete set, but she isn’t going for it.
A quick entry, just to announce an end to my blogging hiatus and let folks know that I’ve reached a new academic milestone. I just discovered I have been quoted in National Lampoon Van Wilder’s Guide to Graduating College in 8 Years or More: Everything You Need to Know About Books, Beer and Babes. Amazon has that cool “Statistically Improbably Phrases” thing, which for this tome are: “party school ranking, party glow, beer bong, graduating college.”
I am so proud. It’s after 8am, so I guess I’ll crack open a Bud Light in celebration.
